I use a trauma-informed approach, recognising the impact that past experiences can have on emotional wellbeing, relationships, and daily life. My focus is on creating a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the counselling process. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions, low self-esteem, trauma, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, counselling can help you develop practical strategies, build resilience, and create lasting positive change. Together, we can work towards enhancing your wellbeing, strengthening your sense of self, and helping you move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
Relationships can be a source of connection, support, and fulfilment, but they can also experience periods of conflict, disconnection, and stress. Couples counselling provides a safe and supportive space for partners to explore challenges, strengthen communication, and work towards a healthier, more satisfying relationship. I take a trauma-informed approach, recognising that past experiences, attachment patterns, and life circumstances can influence how we relate to one another. My aim is to create a respectful and collaborative environment where both partners feel heard, understood, and supported. I help couples develop deeper emotional connection, improve communication, navigate conflict more effectively, and strengthen trust and understanding. I also integrate strategies from other therapeutic modalities where appropriate, tailoring sessions to meet the unique needs and goals of each couple.
Couples counselling can support partners experiencing communication difficulties, recurring conflict, intimacy concerns, life transitions, parenting challenges, relationship dissatisfaction, betrayal or trust issues, and the impacts of stress, anxiety, or other personal challenges on the relationship. Together, we can work towards building a stronger, more connected partnership and creating positive, lasting change within your relationship.

I work collaboratively with children and their families to understand their unique experiences and support positive growth and development. Through a compassionate and strengths-based approach, children can gain greater confidence, self-awareness, and practical skills to help them navigate life's challenges.
Parenting can be rewarding, but it can also bring challenges, uncertainty, and stress. Whether you're navigating behavioural issues, family transitions, co-parenting arrangements, or the everyday demands of raising children, counselling can help you build confidence, improve understanding, and foster a more positive family environment. Support is tailored to your family's unique needs and goals, helping you respond to challenges with greater clarity and resilience.
Tuning in to Kids and Tuning in to Teens are evidence-based parenting programs that help parents better understand and respond to their child's emotions. The programs teach practical skills to strengthen connection, improve communication, and support emotional wellbeing. These programs normally run in a group format providing 1 session per week over a 6 week period. It can be difficult for many parents to commit to the set times each week, or sometimes just don't feel comfortable in the group settings. As a trained facilitator, I can take you through the programs in individual 1:1 sessions at times convenient to you and at your own pace.
