Fees, Payment & Cancellation Policy

Payment & Cancellation Policy

Payment for counselling and support services is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This applies to both face-to-face and telehealth sessions.


To avoid cancellation fees, at least 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment 


Cancellation fees apply as follows:

  

  • 48 hours’ notice or more: The full session fee will be refunded or credited toward a future appointment.


  • Less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the session fee will be retained as a cancellation fee, and the remaining 50% may be either credited toward a future appointment, or refunded. 


  • Same day cancellation or non-attendance (no-show): 100% of the session fee will be retained. 


  • Telehealth appointments unable to proceed due to unmet privacy or confidentiality requirements: 100% of the session fee will be retained.


Exceptional circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the counsellor's discretion for ongoing clients who are known to the service. This policy helps ensure appointment availability and supports the ongoing provision of services to all clients.


If you have any concerns regarding this payment and cancellation policy, please contact the service to discuss prior to booking.


Please note that Medicare & private health rebates are not available.

Standard Counselling Sessions

Counselling and Parent Support

50-minute session

$150

Adults, children, individual or couples

30-minute session

$75

For younger children, 30-minute sessions are available. 

These shorter sessions can be a great option for children who may benefit from a briefer, age-appropriate counselling experience.

Advocacy Letters

$100-$150

Cost of support letters varies depending on what is required. The needs and cost will be discussed and agreed on prior. Payment must be received prior to the letter being provided to you.


VOCAT/FAS

VOCAT/FAS

Funded

Clients receiving support under the Victorian VOCAT or FAS schemes are required to provide confirmation of approved funding prior to commencing services.

Where funding is approved, services are billed directly to the relevant scheme in accordance with their fee and payment guidelines. 

There are no out-of-pocket or gap fees for approved services.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure funding approval is current and sufficient to cover ongoing sessions. 

We reserve the right to update fees from time to time, and any changes will be updated on the website prior to taking effect.
